FIRST LANGUAGE

Timetable

CES students follow mainstream education at primary school level. They attend First Language classes at either 8.25 in the morning and/or at Irish or Religion time (in the primary school) during the day. 

We provide five LI classes per week.

LI subjects are taught through the mother tongue. All other mainstream subjects are taught through English. 

Programmes and Examinations

European Schools’ syllabi are used for LI. The Centre for European Schooling undergoes regular European School Inspections. 

We currently teach the following languages at primary school level:

Czech – German – Greek – Hungarian – Italian – Polish – Spanish
